Okay, so maybe I need to go back and do this one again. I've saved sites in RSS, but when I try to add them to my blogger account, I can't. Plus, I'd like to add a space in my layout for "articles I like" but can't figure that either. Anyone?
Hi Lisa - Try this...go to the page you'd go to for posting (not sure what it's called). There is a row of tabs at the top - Posting, Settings, Layout, Monetize. Click on Layout, then Page Elements. On the right side is a row of boxes that say "Add a Gadget" - click on one of those and a box will pop up that contains a list of possible gadgets to be added. Scroll down to find "Blog List," "Link List," and "Feed" for RSS. Click on the plus button for the one you want and the gadget will be added to the box and then you just fill in the details. The boxes can be arranged by dragging them around on the Page Elements page. Hope this helps!
Sorry, my last post was riddled with typos ... let me try again! I didn't realize that Marilyn already responded to your question. So, I made this little tutorial for you ... just hit the play button when the screen displays and be sure your speakers are on.
Jeannette....I love you! But seriously, that helped a great deal. After I have my 4th graders, I will go back in and do it. The problem I think was that I added the gadget, but without content. Doh!

Great Work everyone! Fantastic! Love it! That's the power of the Internet...of collaboration.
ReplyDeleteMy first stop when I'm stuck on any program is YouTube.com. A quick search for Google Reader will find you man how to get started videos. :)
